Meditation & Buddhism for Daily Life

Our evening drop-in classes are open to everybody and are designed to give you the opportunity to learn about particular aspects of Buddhist thought and how to apply meditation and special ways of thinking to solve the problems of modern daily life

Tuesday evenings with Gen Kelsang Rabka
7.30 – 8.45pm: May 5, 12 & 19

We often search for solutions to our problems by trying to change our external circumstances — our jobs, our relationships, or our surroundings. But what if the most effective solution is an internal one?

Join Buddhist monk, Gen Kelsang Rabka our next 3-class series, during which we will explore the profound and ancient Buddhist practice known as “Exchanging Self with Others.” This practice isn’t about neglecting yourself; it’s about finding a more expansive, resilient, and joyful way of being through a process of mental transformation. By learning the art of Exchanging Self with Others, you will come to see for yourself how a small shift in our habitual way of thinking is able to profoundly shift the experiences in our life for the better — unlocking an inexhaustible source of mental peace that remains steady even when life gets difficult.

Each class includes:

  • Guided Meditations: Learn calming and transformative meditations that help to reduce the power of attachment and cultivate genuine contentment.
  • Practical Teachings: Receive accessible, step-by-step advice on how to recognise, reduce, and eventually abandon attachment, enabling you to maintain a peaceful mind modern daily life.

No prior experience or particular religious beliefs are necessary to attend this series – everyone is welcome!
